1 情报部门科技文献的特点第一,按文献的内容来分,有以下特点: (1) 专业性:专业情报所只收藏本行业系统或与该专业学科有关的文献。综合性情报所也有一定的专业范围,即使国家的综合科技情报中心,也无力搞大而全的收藏。例如,中情所近已规定,只收藏以工程技术和高技术为主的文献,形成特色,承担一定的社会分工。 (2) 时效性:对科技情报的原则要求即:广、快、精、准。因此,情报所收藏的文献资料只应是最新的,能及时反映水平动向的。现代化信息社会对情报的需求已远不是对某个原理的论述或公式的推导,乃是具体到一条信息。
