陈念贻、江乃雄等应用键参数模式识别方法,用电子计算机对未知的金属间化合物进行预报.最近,我们对计算机预报结果进行实验验证,合成了LaPd_5、EuFe_2、EuNi_2等一系列新化合物并测定其结构.本文报道LaPd_5的合成和晶体结构测定结果.根据计算机预报,LaPd_5应是CaCu-5型结构.为了验证这一点,我们首先进行了LaPd_5样品的合成.取纯度为99.99%的La和纯度为99.9%的Pd在氮化硼坩埚中,1.5大气压的氩气氛下熔炼.为防止La的氧化损失,在配料时La按化学配比略有过量.
