江泽民总书记“三个代表”的提出,把生产力的问题概括得简洁而明了,具体而深刻。生产力不是束之高阁的理论,也不是可望不可及的理想,而是人人关注,天天触摸的东西,发展生产力不仅是组织者、指挥者、决策者身体力行的要事,也是生产者、建设者,工作者实践的奋斗目标。因为“发展先进的生产力,是发展先进文化,实现最广大人民根本利益的基础条件”
General Secretary Jiang Zemin’s proposal of “three represents” summarizes the problems of the productive forces in a concise, clear, concrete and profound way. Productivity is not a doctrine of lofty ideals, nor is it an unattainable ideal. It is a matter that everybody cares about and touches everyday. Developing productive forces is not only an important task for organizers, commanders and policy makers, but also producers, builders, Workers practice the goal. Because “the development of advanced productive forces is the basic condition for developing an advanced culture and realizing the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people”
