Today we are going to comment on three of the latest CD players that appear in the UK market, each of which represents the level of manufacture of a CD player at the £ 1,000 price point by the respective manufacturer. In sound performance, they are facing intense competition from some of the hottest recent breeds, with brands such as Arcam, Meridian and Naim in the £ 1000 price band. In addition, Audio Analogue and Linn have similar models released earlier in the day. Happily, both companies have generously lent their old phonographs as reference for this review.
