中共中央组织部公布的全国党内统计最新数据显示,截至2007年6月,全国党员总数为7336.3万名,比2002年党的十六大时增加642.2万名,平均每年增加142.7万名,平均每年增长2.1%。全国现有党的基层组织360.7万个,比2002年党的十六大时增加14.2万个。全国申请入党人总数为1960.8万人,比2002年增加448万人。党员队伍结构不断改善,党的凝聚力进一步增强。
According to the latest statistics on intra-party statistics released by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, as of June 2007, the total number of party members in the country was 73.363 million, an increase of 6.422 million from the 16th CPC Congress in 2002, with an average annual increase of 1.427 million. The average 2.1% increase each year. The number of grassroots-level organizations in the country’s existing party totaled 3.6 million, an increase of 142,000 over the 16th CPC Congress in 2002. The total number of applicants applying for membership in the country was 19,608,000, an increase of 4,480,000 over 2002. Party members continually improve the structure, the party’s cohesion and further enhanced.
