英语课程标准对初中英语教学的内容、方法和效果提出了更高的要求。如何深入挖掘英语课堂教学潜力,提高课堂教学实效,发展学生的主体性以及英语实际应用能力,活动教学法为英语教师指明了方向。研究实验表明,活动教学法不仅可以提高学生的成绩,更重要的是可以引起学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生应用英语的能力。重点介绍初中英语课堂有效活动的特征,通过课堂活动特征的把握,更加有效、高效地组织开展英语课堂教学活动。
English curriculum standards put forward higher requirements on the content, methods and effects of junior high school English teaching. How to dig out the potential of English classroom teaching, improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching, develop students’ subjectivity and English practical ability, and activity teaching method points the way for English teachers. Research and experiments show that the activity teaching method can not only improve students’ performance, but more importantly, it can arouse students’ interest in learning English and improve students’ ability to use English. Emphasis is put on the characteristics of the effective activities of junior high school English classrooms. By grasping the characteristics of classroom activities, English classroom teaching activities can be organized more effectively and efficiently.
