干湿球温度表由两支完全相同的温度表构成。一支球部包上湿纱布,纱布下端浸在水中,叫湿球温度表。另一支不包纱布,测量气温用,叫干球温度表(见图)。空气相对湿度100%时,两支温度表读数相同。空气中水汽越少,水分蒸发越多,两支温度表读数相差就越大。根据二支温度表的读数,可从表中查出空气的各种湿度。最常用的是相对湿度。如不需查其他湿度,只要根据干湿球的温度读数差,查相对湿度表即可得到相对湿度。
Wet and dry bulb thermometer consists of two identical thermometers. A ball bag wet gauze, gauze immersed in the water at the bottom, called the wet bulb thermometer. Another bag does not contain gauze, with the temperature measurement, called dry-bulb thermometer (see Figure). Air relative humidity of 100%, the two thermometers reading the same. The less water vapor in the air, the more water evaporates, the greater the difference between the two thermometers. According to the readings of two thermometers, various humidity of the air can be found from the table. The most commonly used is relative humidity. If you do not need to check other humidity, as long as the temperature difference between the wet and dry bulb readings, check the relative humidity to get the relative humidity.
