在现代战争中,直升机搭载特种分队实施秘密潜入、特种突击、垂直登陆、搜索救援等战术行动已经成为极为重要的作战样式或作战内容。在这些行动中,特种分队的直升机机降是最为关键的环节,因为这时,无论是直升机还是行动分队都极为脆弱,非常容易遭到敌方的打击,任何一个环节出现闪失都可能导致非常严重的后果。正是由于直升机机降作战的重要性以及艰巨性,进行机降训练、提高相关技能也就自然成了各国特种作战队员以及直升机飞行员日常训练的重要内容。
