进入新世纪以来,中国的旅游业得到迅速发展,旅游英语翻译越来越受到业界的重视,简单的对等翻译已无法解决由英汉语言文化差异所造成的交流障碍。而“零对等”作为一种新型的翻译处理手段,可以更好地使译文与原文达到功能和效果上的对等,以实现有效的信息传达。但目前国内对“零对等”翻译的研究还不多,本文着重从语言和文化两方面对旅游英语翻译“零对等”现象进行研究。
Since the beginning of the new century, China’s tourism industry has developed rapidly. Tourism English translation has drawn more and more attention from the industry. A simple equivalence translation has failed to solve the communication barrier caused by the differences between Chinese and English languages. As a new method of translation processing, “zero equivalence ” can better achieve the equivalence of function and effect between the target language and the original text so as to achieve effective information transmission. However, there are not many researches on “zero-equivalence” translation in our country at present. This thesis focuses on the study of “zero-equivalence” in tourism English translation from two aspects of language and culture.
