英汉广告在遣词造句及修辞上既表现出相似性又存在着差别。因此,在翻译广告时,应根据具体广告的不同特点,采用灵活的译法,译成符合目的语读者审美习惯和审美需要的广告,以促进产品的销售。该文从词法、句法等方面介绍了英语广告的语言特征,并通过实例分析阐述了常用的几种翻译技巧。
Chinese and English advertisements show both similarities and differences in the construction of sentences and rhetoric. Therefore, when translating advertisements, flexible translation methods should be adopted according to the different characteristics of specific advertisements, and translated into advertisements that meet the aesthetic habits and aesthetic needs of target language readers to promote the sales of products. This article introduces the linguistic features of English advertisements from lexical and syntactical aspects, and explains several commonly used translation techniques through examples.
