大丰县1976～1991年自杀死亡情况调查表明：自杀死亡率为27．94／10万，自杀死亡原因主要为家庭矛盾、自身矛盾、邻里及社会矛盾．自杀人员主要为文化水平很低的农民，自杀方式以口服农药为主，做好干预的主要措施要提高群众文化素质、普及精神卫生知识，搞好人际关系，加强农药保管。
A survey of suicide deaths from 1976 to 1991 in Dafeng County shows that the suicide rate was 27.94 / lakh. The main causes of suicide were family conflicts, self-contradictions, neighborhoods and social conflicts. The main suicide workers are farmers with low educational level. The main methods of suicide are oral pesticides. The main measures to intervene should improve the cultural quality of the masses, popularize mental health knowledge, improve interpersonal relations and strengthen the custody of pesticides.
