今年是徽班进京200周年。文化部、中国剧协、中国戏曲学会、北京市文化局为纪念徽班进京200周年,举办了全国性的京剧演出活动。这一活动,对于弘扬民族优秀文化、振兴京剧艺术将起到推动作用。这是值得我们每一个从事京剧艺术工作的同志感到振奋鼓舞的大事情。借这个机会,我想谈一点目前感到最迫切需要重视和解决的问题,即青年演员的培养问题。其实,这是一个老问题,一个呼吁多年但一直没能很好解决的问题。随着时间的推移,过去的老演员有的辞世,有的不能在舞台上演出;过去的中年演员已经步入老年,京剧演员队伍日趋老化,因而培养青年演员的问题就显得愈加亟待解决。一个剧种设有一代又一代优秀青年演员的崛起,
This year marks the 200th anniversary of the emblem class to Beijing. The Ministry of Culture, the Chinese Opera Association, the Chinese Opera Society and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture organized a nationwide Peking opera performance to mark the 200th anniversary of the emblem class’s entry into Beijing.
