Information technology with computer and network as its core has triggered profound changes in education and teaching. Based on the analysis of the current situation of postgraduate public foreign language teaching and the exploration of the theoretical basis of relying foreign language teaching, this paper explores and practices the relying on postgraduate foreign language teaching in multimedia environment to promote the win-win situation of complementary and mutually reinforcing postgraduate basic English and professional English teaching.
