她出生于一个国民党高级军官家庭,先后在成都、北京、南京辗转求学。她以“教育救国”为信念,放弃在华西大学执教的工作,毅然到偏远、落后的西康省(解放后,1955年并入四川省)创办了省立女子中学。从1941年她拿起教鞭,直到2001年7月,83岁高龄的她才走下三尺讲台,从而以她60年的教学生涯,演绎了一个平凡而又传奇的人生。在2001年的岁末,笔者在二郎山下采写了这个鲜为人知的故事——
Born in a family of senior Kuomintang officers, she studied in Chengdu, Beijing and Nanjing successively. With her faith in “saving the nation through education”, she relinquished her job as a co-worker at Huaxi University and decided to establish a provincial women’s high school in the remote and underdeveloped province of Xikang (after the liberation into the Sichuan Province in 1955). Since 1941 she picked up her lark until July 2001, when she was 83, she walked down the three-foot podium to interpret an ordinary and legendary life with her 60-year teaching career.
