2012年3月24日,第十一届全国人民代表大会第五次会议审议通过了《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法修正案(草案)》,规定新的刑诉法于今年1月1日起开始实施,新刑诉法中检察机关几乎涉及到刑事诉讼的整个过程,它的修订给检察机关的工作提出了新要求。党的十八大报告中对新时期的司法行政工作也提出了新要求,在全面推进法治建设的过程中,检察机关的重要性越来越明显,责任越来越大,这既是机遇,又是挑战,检察机关要认清形势,强化措施,更好地履行侦查监督职能。文章就新形势下检察机关如何更好地履行侦查监督职能,维护文盲者的合法权益展开论述,探索检察机关行使侦查监督职能维护文盲权益的方式方法。
