2017年3月18日,伊拉克战事正酣,美军士兵正在准备M224型迫击炮,为伊军陆军第九师提供火力支援。M224型60毫米迫击炮是一型由美军开发与生产的前装式滑膛迫击炮,主要为地面部队提供近距离的炮火支援,最大射程达到3 500米。整个M224系统可以分解为M225型炮筒,M170型支架,M7型或M8型底座,以及M64A1型光学瞄准系统。系统可以在支座或单手持握两种状态下使用。配备有高爆榴弹、烟雾弹、照明弹、训练弹等。
On March 18, 2017, Iraq war was going on. U.S. soldiers were preparing M224 mortars to provide fire support to the Ninth Army of the Iraqi Army. The M224 60mm mortar is a type of front-mounted sliding bore mortar developed and produced by the U.S. military that mainly provides ground-based troops with close-range artillery support for a maximum range of 3,500 meters. The entire M224 system can be disassembled into M225 type cannon, M170 bracket, M7 or M8 base, and the M64A1 optical sighting system. The system can be used in the holder or one hand to hold two states. Equipped with high explosive grenades, smoke bombs, flares, training bombs and more.
