奥林匹克运动在其繁荣发展过程中,显示出自身顽强的力量,然而可喜的繁荣背后却潜藏着人文危机,奥林匹克运动真正要成为人类和平的圣典,还需迈出飞跃性的一步。作为东方传统文明象征的我国文化,更重要的是在于能否促成奥林匹克运动的健康与完善。所以,奥林匹克运动要谋求东西方文化的交流与共享,特别是与中国传统文化的契合已是历史的必然。
In its prosperity and development, the Olympic Movement has shown its tenacious strength. However, behind the welcome prosperity lies a humanistic crisis, and the Olympic Movement must truly become a sacrament of human peace. It needs to take a leap forward step. As the symbol of our country’s traditional civilization, our culture is even more important whether it can contribute to the health and improvement of the Olympic Movement. Therefore, for the Olympic Movement to seek the exchange and sharing of East-West culture, especially with the traditional Chinese culture, it is a historical necessity.
