胡锦涛总书记在全国“两会”上提出的“八荣八耻”,导向鲜明,概括精辟,内涵深邃,振聋发聩,充分体现了新时期的社会主义荣辱观和价值观,具有重要的现实指导意义。而企业文化是20世纪80年代从管理科学丛林中分化出来的一门新学科,从它的兴起至今不过20年左右时间。它之所以引起企业界和学术界的广泛关注和研究,根本原因是由于它给企业注入的生命活力,以及它给企业带来的有形的和无形的、经济的和社会的效益。企业文化成了促进企业经营业绩和经济增长的有效手段和精神动力。从建设有中国特色的企业文化实践看,先进的企业文化可以发挥好思想政治教育的功能,因此,探索八荣八耻在企业文化建设中的作用,是新时期加强和改进思想政治工作的一项新课题。
