Few ceramic producing areas in the world are like Dehua. From the time of more than 2000 years in the Western Zhou Dynasty, kiln fire has never stopped. Ceramic firing history has a long history dating back to the Neolithic, Xia Shang period began firing the original celadon, then flourished in the Tang, Song, Sheng Yu Ming, Qing, until today more prosperous. There may not be a place in the world like Dehua. The whole county is a large kiln built on kiln bricks and old porcelain pieces that have been calcined for thousands of times. At present, 188 ancient kilns found in the county, from densely populated Chengguan to lonely mountain villages, can often find sites of ancient porcelain pieces and ancient porcelain kilns from fields and rice paddies to jungles and dense forests.
