城市化进程是进入21世纪的中国所必须面临的现实问题。就中国目前的城市人口而言 ,离发达国家还有很大的距离。由于历史和现实的原因 ,有许多不利的因素影响着我们的城市化进程 ,这些问题解决的好坏直接关系到我国社会的政治经济稳定。以往 ,人们在进行小城镇有关问题的研究时涉及公安工作的仅仅是户籍管理问题 ,这是远远不够的。要规划出21世纪适合社会发展的小城镇治安模式 ,最好的办法是公安机关自始至终就参与到这个进程中
The process of urbanization is a real issue that China must face in the 21st century. As far as China’s current urban population is concerned, there is still a long way to go to developed countries. Due to historical and practical reasons, there are many unfavorable factors that affect our process of urbanization. The quality of these problems is directly related to the political and economic stability of our society. In the past, when people conducted research on relevant issues in small towns, they only dealt with the issue of household registration management concerning public security work. This is not enough. The best way to plan the law and order pattern for small towns suitable for social development in the 21st century is to involve the public security organs in the process from beginning to end
