目前,我国报纸的经营模式有以下三种类型:第一类是报纸定价高于成本,报纸以发行盈利。这类报纸版面少,广告少,周期长,发行量大,编辑、经营成本低,主要以发行获利。在竞争战略上,它们走的是成本领先战略。第二类是定价高于成本,同时还有广告收入的行业类、地域性报纸,这类报纸在某一行业或地域内有较高的读者认同度,目标读者群的定位有较高的专业特征,这也使广告商可以有针对性的进行广告投放。第三类报纸走的是定价低于成本、一次销售亏损、以二次销售弥补一次销售的盈利模式。大多数都市类报纸属于这种类型。
