华枝睾吸虫病分布于远东的日本、朝鮮、越南和中国。据已往的文献报导,本虫的动物感染,特別是狗和猫,几乎遍及全国,然而严重的人类流行区仅限于有生食或食半生魚类习慣的广东和台湾等地的居民中。解放后由于党和政府对人民健康的关怀及各地医务工作者对寄生虫病的积极調查,华枝睾吸虫病的新的流行区,如辽宁铁岭县、四川簡阳县,江西雩都县、河南于城县及福建南安县
Clonorchiasis is distributed in Japan, North Korea, Vietnam and China in the Far East. It has been reported in previous literature that animal infections, especially dogs and cats, are widespread throughout the country. However, severe human endeavors are restricted to residents of Guangdong and Taiwan who have raw or semi-salted fish habits. After the liberation of the party and the government due to the people’s health care and medical workers around the active investigation of parasitic diseases, new areas of clonorchiasis sinensis, such as Tieling County in Liaoning Province, Sichuan Jianyang County, Jiangxi Quddu County, Henan Yucheng County and Fujian Nanan County
