李莲英是慈禧最宠爱的太监总管,他是在慈禧死后三年,一命呜呼的。北京海淀区恩济庄,是清朝太监的墓地,这儿埋葬了清朝的两千七百多名太监,其中许多是草草埋殓。李莲英死后也埋葬在此.但这是慈禧生前钦定赐银修建墓穴的,并敕建了李家祠堂,因此,李莲英墓和其他太监墓截然不同。传说李莲英墓的外层,是用黄泥沙土,用鸡蛋白、糯米汤搅拌修筑。当年修墓时
Li Lian-ying, Empress’s favorite chief eunuch, died three years after Empress’s death. Enji Village, Haidian District, Beijing, is a cemetery for the eunuchs of the Qing Dynasty, where more than 2,700 eunuchs of the Ch’ing dynasty were buried, many of which were heavily planted.
