Whether or not the excavation tunnel boring machine can excavate according to a predetermined slope is one of the keys to its practical application. The actual control of the slope depends on the structure of the machine itself. At present, the commonly used rolling rock-breaking roadheaders use the method of raising and lowering the support to adjust the slope at the end of the journey.
