利用生物发光(BL)技术进行高压灭菌效果监控,使传统的生物指示剂法实现了快速检测。当灭菌不彻底(只要有1×102CFU/ml活菌体存在时)经5小时孵育即可观察到释放ATP细菌数的增加。使BL发光峰值(CPS)明显增高。用氯仿法释放指示菌ATP进行BL测定,本底值重复性好,峰值<1CPS,按细菌分裂繁殖的生理特性,提出以孵育5小时后,BL发光峰值>2CPS判定为灭菌不彻底,与人工植入活菌法的实验结果一致。本法的应用对促进医院感染控制工作具有实用价值。
