春节前后,广东部分地区爆发了非典型肺炎。这次突发事件来势凶猛、震动强烈、影响广泛,是对党报主流媒体新闻驾驭能力的一次重大考验。处在风口浪尖的《广州日报》及广东其他党报主流媒体,一道以高度的社会责任感和大局意识,牢牢把握正确舆论导向,着眼于正面引导,积极稳妥地进行报道,为平息谣言、安定民心、稳定社会立下头功,受到广东省委、广州市委的表扬。回顾整个事件报道情况,笔者认为至少有以下几方面经验值得总结。
