人的IL-4是由活化的T细胞分泌的一种18~19KDa糖蛋白。针对不同的靶细胞系及其不同的活化状态,IL-4呈现多种生物学活性。对正常静止B 细胞,IL-4可上调某些抗原的表达,如低亲和力IgE 受体(FcεRⅡ/CD_(23))和sIgM 受体,而对CD_5的表达起下调作用。IL-4对静止和活化的B 细胞呈现不同的生物学效应。如对静止和体内活化的B 细胞上CD_(23)表达起上调作用,但IL-4只能诱导“体外”激活的B 细胞增殖和(或)分化。为了研究IL-4对静止和活化B 细胞不同的生物学活性的物质基础,本文作者应用碘及生物素标记的IL-4研究正常人B 细胞
Human IL-4 is an 18-19 KDa glycoprotein secreted by activated T cells. IL-4 exhibits a variety of biological activities against different target cell lines and their different activated states. For normal resting B cells, IL-4 up-regulates the expression of certain antigens, such as low affinity IgE receptors (FcεRII / CD_ (23)) and sIgM receptors, while downregulates CD_5 expression. IL-4 exhibits different biological effects on both resting and activated B cells. Such as upregulation of CD_ (23) expression on quiescent and in vivo activated B cells, but IL-4 can only induce proliferation and / or differentiation of “in vitro” activated B cells.
