In ancient China, there are not many “rites” from families and societies, and this may mean the collapse of political order in the absence of “national law.” However, there is something that makes up for the lack of “ceremony” in time, that is, “party discipline.” Some people who are clinging to the thinking of the rule of law may disagree. They think that emphasizing party discipline will inevitably dilute the national law. However, the relationship between the party discipline and the current political order in China is only a descriptive sense. If we look at the meaning of norms, then the ruling party’s party discipline protection and complement the country’s rule of law, which is the mystery of China’s political order today.
