微课作为各个高校发展创新教育的重要途径,对弥补传统大学英语教学模式中“填鸭式”“满堂灌”的现象有着积极作用,有助于提升教师的综合素质,有助于增强学生对英语知识的理解和掌握,是对传统大学英语教学模式的重要补充。微课在大学英语教学中存在四方面的应用:课前预习和课后复习中的微课应用;学生自主学习英语及开展合作的微课应用;大学英语教学策略中的微课应用。教师应加强这四方面的应用,以培养出符合社会发展所需要的高素质、应用型、技能型人才。
