In a small town, there was a music-hall. It was closed all day long. People said there was a ghost inside it .
在一个小镇上，有一座音乐厅，整天大门紧闭。人们传说，音乐厅里有鬼 。
One day, a young man came to the small town. With a key in his hand, he looked around here and there.
这天，一个小伙子来到小镇上。他手里拿着一把钥匙，边走边四处张望。
Suddenly, he stopped walking in front of the music-hall, and put the key into the lock of the gate. The door opened.
忽然，他在音乐厅前停住了脚步，把钥匙插进了大门的锁 里。门开了。
The young man was called Mike, and he had come here to work as the manager of the music-hall.
年轻人叫麦克，是来这里工作的音乐厅经理。
“Mike, there is a ghost inside the music-hall, it will eat you!” Some kind people told Mike.
“麦克，音乐厅里有鬼，它会吃了你的！”好心的人们纷纷提醒麦克。
“Really? I don’t believe it!” Mike walked into the music-hall with a smile on his face. The music-hall was filled with dust everywhere, so Mike decided to do some cleaning first.
“真的吗？我不信！”麦克笑着走进了音乐厅。音乐厅里到处都积满了灰尘，麦克决定先来个大扫除。
After a busy day, the music-hall became clean and nice. Mike sat in front of the piano, and played the Song of Joy. Suddenly, he heard a big clap.
忙了一整天，音乐厅变得干净又漂亮。麦克坐到钢琴前，弹了一曲《欢乐颂》。突然，他听到了热烈的掌声。
Ah—it was a green ghost in half of the sky!
啊——竟然是一个“绿鬼”飘在半空中！
The green ghost opened his mouth, saying: “First of all, I want to make it clear that I am not a ghost, I am a fairy！I want to learn music, so I came here…”
“绿鬼”开口了：“首先声明：我可不是鬼，我是精灵！因为想学音乐，所以来到这里……”
“Let me teach you.” said Mike. He wasn’t afraid of this green fairy at all.
“让我来教你吧。”麦克说。他一点儿也不害怕这个绿精灵。
One month later, Mike put up a notice at the gate of the music-hall. “A special musician will play the piano at six o’clock on next Friday afternoon. All are welcome to come to the music-hall!”
一个月以后，麦克在音乐厅大门上贴了张告示：“特殊音乐人下周五18:00开演奏会。欢迎光临！”
People saw Mike had been ok for a long time, so they were no longer afraid, and came to the music-hall.
人们见麦克一直没什么事，都不再害怕，纷纷来到音乐厅。
At 18:00 o’clock, the nice Song of Joy sounded before the curtain rose. Everybody said, “Who is the musician, he plays so well.”
18:00一到，大幕 还没拉开，美妙的《欢乐颂》就响起来了。大家纷纷赞叹：“不知是哪位音乐家，弹得真是太好了。”
At the end of the song, Mike said loudly, “Do you know who is playing the music? It’s a lovely fairy!”
一曲终了，麦克大声说：“大家知道今天是谁在演奏吗？它是——一位可爱的精灵！”
The curtain slowly rose, and the green fairy stood up and smiled.

Looking at such a lovely green fairy, people couldn’t help clapping their hands. It seemed that they like this green fairy a lot.
看到这么可爱的绿精灵，人们忍不住鼓起掌来。看来，大家很喜欢这个（爱音乐的）绿精灵呢。
