Objective: To investigate the correlation between microvessel density and metastasis of renal cell carcinoma (renal carcinoma) in order to find a reliable index for judging the metastasis of renal cell carcinoma. Methods: 32 cases of kidney cancer paraffin sections were immunohistochemically stained with a monoclonal antibody against the eighth factor-associated antigen (F8 factor), and the number of microvessels stained in the 200-fold field of view (ie, vessel density) was counted. Patients were divided into two groups according to clinical and postoperative pathological examinations for the presence of cancerous metastases. Results: The average microvessel density was 76±29 in cancer metastasis patients and 44±20 in those without cancer metastasis. There was a significant difference between the two (P<0.05); logistic regression analysis showed that blood vessel density and cancer cells The transfer has relevance. Conclusion: Microvessel density can be used as a reliable indicator to determine the metastasis of renal cancer.
