爱国爱乡是海外华侨的光荣传统，近一个世纪以来，广大归侨、侨胞和侨眷始终与祖国同命运共荣辱。当抗战爆发后，亿万祖国儿女为了中华民族的独立和生存，积极投身到抗日洪流中去，他们同国内同胞一样，满腔热情投入到抗日救亡的神圣事业，为祖国做出了巨大贡献。
Patriotic love is a glorious tradition of overseas Chinese. For nearly a century, the majority of returned overseas Chinese, compatriots from overseas Chinese and their relatives have always shared the same destiny with their motherland. After the outbreak of the war of resistance against Japan, hundreds of millions of motherland and motherland actively devoted themselves to the anti-Japanese invasion for the sake of the independence and survival of the Chinese nation. Like their countrymen, they enthusiastically devoted themselves to the sacred cause of anti-Japanese salvation and made great contributions to the motherland.
