探讨了模具计算机集成制造与并行工程的系统框架，提出了一种新的特征表示模式，并开发了相应的特征造型系统。系统提供基本形状特征和面向具体应用的典型复合特征，保留实体造型的优点；提供二维、三维参数化设计功能；提供对特征的编辑操作和特征的有效性维护；并提供约束机制和特征变换机制，为实现模具计算机集成制造与并行工程奠定了基础。
The system framework of mold computer integrated manufacturing and concurrent engineering is discussed. A new feature representation model is proposed and the corresponding feature modeling system is developed.
