砷加工流失的环保情结2001年1月8日,郴州市苏仙区邓家塘乡邓家塘村发生了砷加工过程中因砷的流失而导致200人先后中毒的恶性事件。中央电视台《焦点访谈》《郴州日报》等对此事件给予了曝光。这事引起苏仙实验中学全校师生的震惊。在黄湘秀、谭春甲、肖英三位老师的带领下,毛钦、肖挺、曾云涛等同学迅速组成了砷加工流失调查小组,决定利用暑假进行一次彻底的调查。为了确定调查方向,小组成员在全校范围内进行了一次“砷加工流失”的问卷调查。从答卷中他们了解到大家普遍关注“砷的用途”“砷的来源”“砷对人体的危害”“怎样消除砷流失的不良影响”等问题。他们讨论后决定本次调查的重点放在砷的流失对人和环境的危害上。虽然距离放暑假还有几个月,但小组成员并没有闲着。他们利用课余时间进行调查前的准备工作,黄湘秀、肖英老师负责联系采访对象。毛钦、肖挺等小组成员则利用双休日,到图书馆搜集砷的相关资料。
Environmental pollution caused by the loss of arsenic processing On January 8, 2001, a total of 200 people were poisoned by arsenic in the process of arsenic processing in Dengjiatang Village, Dengjiatang Township, Suxian District, Ganzhou City. CCTV’s “Focus Interview” and “Luzhou Daily” gave exposure to this incident. This incident caused shock to all teachers and students in the Suxian Experimental High School. Under the leadership of Huang Xiangxiu, Tan Chunjia, and Xiao Ying, Mao Qin, Xiao Ting, Zeng Yuntao and other students quickly formed an arsenic processing loss survey team and decided to use the summer vacation to conduct a thorough investigation. In order to determine the direction of the investigation, the team members conducted a “loss of arsenic processing” questionnaire throughout the school. From the answer sheet, they learned that people are generally concerned about the use of arsenic, the source of arsenic, the harm of arsenic to the human body and how to eliminate the adverse effects of arsenic loss. After discussion, they decided that the focus of this investigation was on the damage of arsenic to people and the environment. Although there were several months away from the summer vacation, the team members were not idle. They used their spare time to prepare for the investigation. Huang Xiangxiu and Xiao Ying were responsible for contacting the interviewees. Team members such as Mao Qin and Xiao Ting used weekends to collect information on arsenic from libraries.
