WY160（A）型反铲挖掘机是长江挖掘机厂生产的土石方挖掘设备,我单位配备有3台这种挖掘机。它以其灵活方便、适应性强等优点先后在南疆黑孜水库和北疆哈巴河山口电站施工中发挥了机械化施工的威力。 但由于工作中冲击负荷较大,所以,在使用过程中时常发生动臂缸活塞杆杆头拉环断裂的现象（图1）。因我们地处边疆、配件材料的采购周期长、价格高,从1989年开始试用堆焊修复的办法,收到良好的效果。现将修复工艺介绍如下。
The WY160 (A) backhoe excavator is an earth-rock excavation equipment produced by the Changjiang excavator factory. Our company is equipped with three such excavators. With its advantages of flexibility, convenience, adaptability, and other advantages, it has played the power of mechanized construction in the construction of the Heijing Reservoir in South Xinjiang and the Yamaguchi Hydropower Station in the northern Xinjiang. However, due to the large impact load during work, the phenomenon that the pull rod of the piston rod of the boom cylinder breaks often occurs during use (Fig. 1). Because we are located in frontiers, long procurement cycle of accessories materials, and high prices, the trial of surfacing welding repair began in 1989 and received good results. The repair process is described below.
