5月26日,以色列电子工业协会主席、RAD数据通信公司创始人兼主席Zohar Zisapel先生在京向记者表示,希望能通过专业人才交流促进中以两国在数据通信方面的合作。Zisapel先生称,以色列在高科技领域处于世界领先地位,但由于国家小而缺乏高水平的专业人士;而中国在人力资源方面有着优势。他希望今后中以两国的高新技术企业能合作开发项目,并将此作为RAD数据通信公司对中国投资的一部份。创立于1981年的RAD数据通信公司目前是RAD集团中最具实力的一员,去年营业额为1.4亿美元。该公司自1991年进入中国市场,已经并计划年内开设北京、香港和上海三个办事处,去年中国市场营业收入1500万美元,今年已完成了900万美元。中国已成为仅次于美国的RAD第二大单一国家市场。
On May 26, Mr. Zohar Zisapel, chairman of Israel Electronics Industry Association and founder and chairman of RAD Data Communications, told reporters in Beijing that he hopes to promote cooperation between China and Israel in data communications through exchange of professionals. Mr. Zisapel said that Israel is a world leader in high-tech fields, but due to its small size, there is a lack of highly qualified professionals; and that China has advantages in human resources. He hopes that in the future, high-tech enterprises in both countries will be able to jointly develop projects and make this a part of RAD’s data communications investment in China. Founded in 1981, RAD Data Communications is currently the strongest member of the RAD group with $ 140 million in sales last year. The company has entered the Chinese market since 1991 and has planned and opened three offices in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai during the year. Last year, the operating income of the Chinese market was 15 million U.S. dollars and it has completed 9 million U.S. dollars this year. China has become the second largest single-country market for RAD in the United States.
