Fujitsu company will be with C. ItohCo. Cooperate to establish Gulf submarine optical fiber cable system. The project, which will be completed by the end of May 1997, is the first submarine cable system in the Persian Gulf. The project needs 80 million U.S. dollars and the fiber optic cable is 1,300 kilometers in length, connecting Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
