近代以来,尤其是甲午战争后,富强成了中国社会的核心价值。富强的观念既包含了中国传统思想的源流,更包含了对近代西方列强入侵的回应。晚清各家对富强观念的说法和实践的途径是理解近代中国的重要钥匙。本文拟对晚清时期各家的富强之说进行梳理,回溯富强观念和寻求富强之法的历史嬗变,理解近代中国的多舛命运。
Since the modern times, especially after the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, prosperity has become the core value of Chinese society. The concept of affluence and prosperity contains not only the origins of Chinese traditional thought, but also the response to the invasion of modern Western powers. The way of saying and practicing the concept of prosperity and empowerment in late Qing Dynasty is an important key to understanding modern China. This article intends to sort out the prosperous and strong points of every family in the late Qing Dynasty, trace back the historical evolution of the concept of prosperous and strong and seek the law of wealth and prosperity, and understand the fate of modern China.
