运用系统功能语言学中的人际隐喻理论,并结合认知语法中的象似性原理、图形背景分隔理论,剖析了英语语法中所描述的否定转移现象。根据人际隐喻理论,本文认为英语否定转移可分为原型形式和非原型形式,其中原型形式中又有两类情况可被视为人际隐喻化的结果,且从认知根源上讲,具有认知心理理据。而非原型形式虽然与人际隐喻无关,但依然具有心理认知依据。为深入理解这一语言现象,同时帮助英语学习者避免英汉互译错误,本文还借助汉语语料库分析了汉语中相应的否定转移情况,发现汉语中的否定转移只存在其主观形式,因此在英汉互译时对于主观转移否定和客观转移否定应区别对待。
Using the theory of interpersonal metaphor in system functional linguistics, this paper analyzes the phenomenon of negative transfer described in English grammar by combining the iconicity principle and the graphic background separation theory in cognitive grammar. According to the theory of interpersonal metaphor, this paper argues that English negative transfer can be divided into archetype and non-archetype, and there are two kinds of archetype which can be regarded as the result of interpersonal metaphor. And from the cognitive root, Psychological motivation. Although the non-prototype form has nothing to do with interpersonal metaphor, but still has a psychological basis for cognition. In order to further understand this linguistic phenomenon and at the same time help English learners avoid mistakes in translation between English and Chinese, this dissertation also analyzes the corresponding negative transfer in Chinese using Chinese corpus, and finds that negative transfer in Chinese only exists in its subjective form. Therefore, The time of translation should be treated differently from the negation of subjective transfer and the negation of objective transfer.
