The full-face tunneling machine symposium co-chaired by Construction Committee of China Water Conservancy Society, China Tunneling Machinery Research Boring Machine Group and Shanxi Yellow River Diversion Project Management Bureau was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province on November 14-19, 1995 . A total of 108 delegates from 61 units of the State Science and Technology Commission, relevant departments and systems attended the meeting.
