几年来,香港政府积极地着手市中心老区的重建项目,这导致文化浓厚的社区的消失,也引起了许多市民的注意。在这样的背景之下,香港的摄影实践和社区文化的联系逐渐变得很紧密,并可从中感觉到摄影家对社区文化的洞察力。在这篇文章中,笔者通过不同香港的案例,探讨摄影家怎样试图在自己的作品上呈现社区文化。首先,笔者将对香港摄影家吴文正的作品加以分析。吴文正毕业于香港理工大学设计系,之后便从事新闻摄影工作。他平素喜爱香港旧区,对底层居民的生活相当关注,尝试了一系列的报道摄影,以探讨相关社会问题。除报道摄影之外,吴文正多年来都专注搜集本地民间旧物作
Over the past few years, the Hong Kong government has aggressively embarked on redevelopment projects in the old downtown areas. This has led to the disappearance of a highly-populated community and attracted the attention of many people. Against this background, the connection between Hong Kong’s photographic practices and community culture has gradually become more closely linked with the perception of photographers on community culture. In this article, the author explores how photographers try to present a community culture in their work through different Hong Kong cases. First of all, I will analyze the work of Hong Kong photographer Wu Wenzheng. Wu is graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University Department of Design, then engaged in news photography. He generally loved the old districts of Hong Kong and was very concerned about the life of the grassroots. He tried a series of coverage photographs to discuss relevant social issues. Apart from covering photography, Wu Wenzheng has been concentrating on the collection of local private old objects for many years
