In the teaching of physical education in most vocational colleges, most teachers tend to emphasize and pursue the intensity of exercise and the total amount of training. They think that as long as the intensity reaches a certain level, the overall quality and physical health of students can be guaranteed. However, this teaching mode ignores the enthusiasm, participation and coordination of students, especially in the volleyball teaching in higher vocational colleges, how to take effective measures to guide students to complete the volleyball learning task happily and healthily has become an urgent need for educators solved problem. This article first describes the sports games and volleyball teaching briefly, and then focuses on the analysis of sports games in higher vocational volleyball teaching in the role and reality
