Russia’s Antelev has a script called “The Life of a Man” that uses five scenes to represent a person’s journey from cradle to grave. In the script, behind the “people”, there is often a “gray person” symbolizing destiny. A candle symbolizing life is burning next to it. The story remembers this: The first act was in the ashes of the house, the “grey man” came to wait for birth, a group of elderly women were busy indoors, and the “people” fell to the ground in the midwife; “gray people” The burning candlelight quietly shows that another life has come to Earth. In the second act, in the poverty-stricken house, the candles have been ordered a third of the time. The “man” and the young wife are guarding against hunger, but they are younger and have more love than appetite.
