The Ministry of Education pointed out in the “Guiding Opinions on the Graduation and Examination of Entrance Examination for Higher Education in the Early 2000s”: "The mathematics examination should focus on students’ basic mathematics, thinking and spatial concepts while focusing on students’ analysis and solving problems using mathematical knowledge. The ability of practical problems should be designed with a certain combination of real-world situations and open issues, not artificially fabricated and difficult calculation problems.
