苏联文化部图书馆学院司司长K.斯罗夫曾指出:“图书馆员作为一个实际工作者或科学工作者,在一个特定的范围内,应该成为一个‘综合性’的专家,熟悉相关学科的基础理论,懂得怎样在工作中应用新方法”。目前,我国图书情报学教育主要采用纯学科的本科制,这是造成专业人员“个体混合,总体单一”,不能满足各类专业性图书情报机构需要的主要原因。要解决这个问题,比较切实可行的方法是,加强图书情报学复合教育,即交叉教育。具体方法主要有三种:一是双修制,即让学生先用2~3年的时间
