After the Japanese invaded in 1945 to the victory of the Liao-Shen Campaign in 1948, Tao Zhu spent most of the time as secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the Liaogu region. During the three years of the duel between light and darkness before the dawn of the Northeast, he fought with the masses of the people with common aspirations and common destiny.
