提出了折射率分布呈双抛物线结构的光纤，研究了它的传输特性，并与W型光纤做了比较，证明它是一种性能优越于W型光纤的新型光纤结构。
An optical fiber with a double parabolic refractive index distribution was proposed. Its transmission characteristics were studied and compared with that of W type optical fiber. It was proved to be a new type of optical fiber structure with better performance than W type optical fiber.
