Luoquan Well Luoquan Well is at Luoquan Town, a place famous for the site of the “Luoquan Meeting, during which the decision was made to launch the armed uprising against the bartering away of the sovcrcignty of Sichuan-Hankou and Guangzhou-Hankou Railways by the Qing Dynasty, thcrcby leading to the renowned “Chinese Revolution in 1911”. There is a salt god temple standing witness there to the development of the township salt-making industry over the past years. The locally made salt was awarded the gold medal at the Paris Fair in 1925. Owing to the thriving salt trade, the loeal people has been living a well-off. life. The town still protccts more than 1,000 sq. meters of buildings built in the Ming Dynasty, and there are still many storics among the local dwellers about the past cmperors and gifted scholars in Chinese romances.
