军事题材专题片的数量,近几年有了大幅度增加,中央电视台每年都能在第一套和第二套节目里播出150部以上。1986年以来拍出了《队列曹》,《牧牛人》、《教书先生来了》、《小哨士兵》、《大比武》、《胖连长和他的连队》那样有些突破的片子,1991年又搞出了《军营铁汉》、《小部长的大事业》、《大漠赤子》等一批优秀的专题节目。但总的感觉,军事题材专题片,尤其是人物专题片,在思路上,在拍摄手法和创作动机上,还是陈陈相因,往往依循旧章。
