Preface Electrical measuring instruments play an extremely important role in the advancement of science and the promotion of industrial development.The electrical measuring instruments have an extremely wide range of applications. In the manufacturing, on-line production line testing, product research and development applications, as well as equipment monitoring and maintenance have to use electrical measuring instruments. In any case, the need for such instruments is not large. At this point, they are different from consumable devices. Because of this, naturally lead to measuring instrumentation manufacturing industry must be less batch and more variety of ways to produce. This fact greatly limits the production scale of electrical measuring instruments to small and medium-sized enterprises with capital less than 100 million yen, that is, with less than 300 employees.
